We are looking for an experienced digital media professional to lead our Ad Operations team. This position will be responsible for managing all workflow processes and software systems that are used to sell, input, serve, target, and report on the performance of all online ads delivered on publisher websites. The primary functions of Ad Operations are to: (i) fulfill the order of all ad campaigns purchased directly by or on behalf of an advertiser, (ii) maximize revenues from automated channels, (iii) monitor and adjust pricing and delivery variables to maximize company revenue and yield across directly sold and automated channels, and (iv) monitor and maintain quality controls for ads delivered to publisher ad placements.


  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Ad Operations team
  • Oversee the deployment of new publishers and websites
  • Oversee implementation of all direct campaigns, ad scheduling, inventory management, yield management, and technical operations
  • Work with members of the Trafficking team on quality control of creative submissions and troubleshoot issues as required
  • Drive strategy and create best in class ad operations department and team
  • Work with product teams to test and validate new ad products and ensure successful product launches are successful
  • Present and improve regular status and metric reports to executive team
  • Create and provide weekly revenue forecast reports
  • Prepare timely and accurate end of the month billing and commission reports
  • Provide short-notice emergency ad blocking in response to publisher and internal requests as needed


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-7 years’ experience in digital ad operations and programmatic advertising
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising industry, including Header Bidding, OpenRTB protocol, IAB standards, viewability, and fraud prevention
  • Good understanding of HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience with multiple ad servers a plus
  • Strong analytical, strategic and creative problem solving
  • Experience working with technology vendors including ad verification, privacy compliance, and debugging software like Charles
  • Code experience a plus
